On Saturday, June 11th, international sensation Harry Styles kicked off Love On Tour 2022 in Glasgow, Scotland playing his first ever solo stadium.
On the south side of River Clyde, the streets of Glasgow were lined with Harry Styles superfans, dressed in sequins and boas. They had been anticipating the day that Harry would return to Scotland since 2018.
The last time Styles performed in a stadium was with his former band, One Direction.
After One Direction came to an end, he thought his time with stadiums did too.
But here he is, in a sold out Ibrox Stadium beginning his third solo tour.
Harry entered the stage in a striking blue and yellow outfit adorned with strawberries and sequins.
The setlist was a perfect mix of songs from his debut album, “Harry Styles”, “Fine Line”, and his new album “Harry’s House”. Beginning the show with “Music For a Sushi Restaurant'', the energy in the building was electric from the moment he hit the stage, to the moment he stepped off. In true Harry Styles fashion, he expressed his gratitude to his fans many times throughout the show.
If there’s one thing Harry loves to do on stage, it’s fan interaction. He had the entire stadium serenade a lucky fan named Chloe for her birthday.
It was easy to see that Harry was where he belonged as he strutted up and down the stage, radiating confidence and excitement.
Only he could turn a stadium into a home.
Harry’s House.
This week, he’ll be playing a sold out Wembley Stadium twice.
This is a huge accomplishment in Harry’s career and fans couldn’t be more proud of him.
And Love on Tour is only just beginning! Styles will be in Europe, Canada, Australia, South America, and the United States playing fifteen sold out shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and fifteen at The Forum in Los Angeles.
